In December, 1996, Doug Peterson, president of 3-Dimensional Services (3-D), selects OSTCNE to form a FIRST partnership from |

a group of schools they interviewed. Team #1 is formed. |
 |

Molly and Tom Rice of the Robotics Automation program at OSTCNE and Roosevelt Daniel, the Dean of OSTCNE lead |

students of the Robotics/Automation program and Computer Repair program to form the Juggernauts. |

The Juggernauts compete in their first FIRST season. |

The experience with FIRST inspires Tom Rice to submit a blueprint to Oakland Schools to rennovate their facility to emulate |

the rapid proto-typing facility used by the Juggernaut sponsor, 3D services. |

We competed in the Society of Manufacturing Engineer’s International Student Robotics Competition. |
